The facility is a large Olympic size pool that has a roof that is designed to move back and forth on a giant rail system.

During the summer months the roof is opened and remains closed during the winter. The pest pigeons have found the many beams, lights and flanges as excellent areas to nest and roost. [+] Enlarge Photo

The installer designed a system that would allow the roof to move back and forth freely yet prevent the pest birds from infesting the superstructure of the ceiling.
