A large apartment building in Japan was overrun by pigeons. They were nesting on balconies and making a mess of clean laundry on clothes lines. When they built nests on the balcony floors, they would aggressively protect their space. Something had to be done.
StealthNet is installed down the entire face of the building. StealthNet literally blocks off all access to every nook and cranny. While this may be considered aggressive to some, the residents were immediately relieved of any and all bird conflicts. [+] Enlarge Photo
Special poles were fabricated to keep the netting and cables away from the building. This way the residents didnĚt feel as if the netting was right up against their balconies.

Notice how the netting virtually disappears toward the bottom of the photograph.

From across the street the black netting is barely noticeable. The residents have their balconies back at long last. [+] Enlarge Photo
