| The facility was still under construction and the contractor recommended that bird spikes be installed. The installer expressed concerns that though an effective product when properly utilized, they would more then likely fail under these conditions and be unsightly installed on the new log-style façade. Immediately upon completion of the structure, pigeons took up residence in the upper portion of the peak in the alcoves between the logs and the ceiling. The birds were also loafing on the lower support beams and signs.

Six months later, the installer was asked to remove the spikes, due to failure, and install Flex-Track.

Four hundred feet of Flex-Track were installed on the parapet caps and sign letters. Two rows of Flex-Track were used on each of the three signs. [+] Enlarge Photo
