A new amphitheatre with a full spring and summer schedule had birds roosting and nesting on the beams above the stage overhang, creating unsanitary and unsightly conditions on the walls and floors of the stage.
To stop birds from entering the space inside the theatre, StealthNet was installed vertically on a pulley system. By pulling on cables the net can be raised and lowered. It stays closed most of the time. Netting was also installed horizontally under the beams outside of the curtain.

An articulating boom and a scissor lift were utilized to install StealthNet horizontally under the beams that ran above the outer section of the stage.

The netting sits snugly on the floor so birds cannot slide underneath it.

Zippers in the StealthNet can be opened so the riggers can hang lights and other equipment for the concerts (in the photo the zipper is half way opened). [+] Enlarge Photo
This project took 137 man hours to complete.
